The steering committee of the Young Professionals of Pitt County is proud to sponsor one of its members in the Greenville-Pitt Leadership Institute (LI) through its annual YP Leadership Scholarship. The LI is an eight-month (September – May) program offering valuable information and hands-on experiences designed to enhance leadership potential, channel personal strengths and cultivate interest in community service. The YP Leadership Scholarship will cover the entire cost of the program which is a $1,250 value. In order to qualify for the scholarship you must be a member in good standing of the Young Professionals of Pitt County and your employer must be a member in good standing of the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce.
To apply for the YP Leadership Scholarship, please follow the instructions below:
- Fill out the required Leadership Institute application (2020 application deadline August 3rd 2020).
- Provide one (1) letter of reference which will suffice for the required letter of reference for other applicants not associated with the YPs.
- Compose a 100-word write-up detailing why you would like to participate in the LI and submit the write-up with your application.
The deadline to apply for the scholarship is Monday August 3rd, 2020 no later than 5:00 PM.
