Join us April 20th for the monthly 3rd Thursday networking event. Come meet and socialize with other Young Professionals in the Greenville/Pitt County area, and hear from local author, Brandon Sneed.

Brandon Sneed is an author, journalist, and speaker who once thought he’d be a pro baseball player, his attempt at which crashed and burned and ultimately resulted in his new book Head in the Game. He also recently joined B/R Mag, a new sports storytelling division at Bleacher Report and CNN, as a writer-at-large. Previously, his stories have appeared in Outside, ESPN The Magazine, and more, and have twice been notable selections in Best American Sports Writing.

When he’s not on the road, home base is Greenville, North Carolina, where he lives with his wife, toddler son, the baby in his wife’s belly, and their two dogs, a Jack Russell terrier named Cooper and a Jack Russell–pit bull mix named Jack.

Sometimes when he’s not writing or traveling around for research, he works out, plays softball and basketball, gets addicted to Xbox, and, every once in a while, goes for a jog. He often gets excited about other things he’d like to do, but then his body makes him sleep so his brain doesn’t get more messed up than it already is.
