Born out of the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce’s 2007 strategic planning process, the Greenville-Pitt County Young Professionals (GPYP) was created in January, 2008. In 2012, the GPYP steering committee approved changing the name of the organization to Young Professionals (YP) of Pitt County.
YP members represent a vast array of the local workforce, including, but not limited to: engineering, finance, marketing, law enforcement, healthcare, government, non-profit, public relations, education, and journalism. YP members are decision-makers and impactors with a drive to build networks, develop professionally and expand their leadership opportunities.
There are many ways that you can serve within the Young Professionals network. If you are interested in serving on a committee we highly encourage you to let us know. Should your desired involvement be geared to other areas of the organization we will gladly lead you in the right direction. For more information on how to get involved or for general info, please contact Kimber Stone or call 252.752.4101 ext. 222.
