Born out of the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce’s 2007 strategic planning process, the Greenville-Pitt County Young Professionals (GPYP) was created in January, 2008. In 2012, the GPYP steering committee approved changing the name of the organization to Young Professionals (YP) of Pitt County.
Young Professionals of Pitt County is the area’s go-to organization for young professionals to become more engaged in the community through networking, professional development and community service. Our mission is to provide a foundation for future leaders while creating a better place to work, play and live.
Our members represent a vast array of the local workforce who are looking to build networks, develop professionally and socially and expand their leadership opportunities.
